About Me

I started flying in 1997 at the age of 15. Got my Private Pilot Certificate in 2000. Went to Southern Illinois University Carbondale for Aviation Flight and Management where I finished my Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, and Multi-Engine Rating.

Went to Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL in 2004 for Aviation Maintenance and received my A&P Certificate in 2006. Got my CFII (Certificated Flight Instructor, Instrument Instructor) in 2007 through American Flyers.

Flew for a regional airline for almost 7 years, and now fly private jets for a charter comany.

Fell in love with grassroots flying when instructing in a Piper J-3 Cub and love tailwheel airplanes and radial engines.

About Me

I always dreamed of being a pilot. As a teenager I attended ground school and read everything I could about flying. I have also always dreamed of building my own plane. At 45 I completed my private pilot. I am now instrument rated and working on my commercial. My goal is to be a CFI. With EAA Chapter 22 I am helping build a plane, too.
