Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the official civilian auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force and a congressionally chartered nonprofit organization. CAP volunteers serve their communities through emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs that develop leadership, character, and aviation skills in youth ages 12–18.
The Rockford Composite Squadron welcomes both cadets and adult members interested in aviation, leadership development, search and rescue, disaster relief, and community service. Meetings typically include training, leadership activities, aerospace education, and mission readiness preparation.
Visitors and prospective members are welcome.
