Next Fly-In - Saturday May 3rd - Pancake Breakfast!
As EAA Chapter 22 continues to expand its youth-focused programs and outreach, we recognize that creating a safe and welcoming environment for young people is not just important—it’s essential. That’s why we have formally amended our bylaws to require all Board Members and volunteers who interact with youth to complete and maintain certification through the EAA Youth Protection Program.
Our updated bylaws, recently adopted by our membership, outlines our Chapter’s commitment to ensuring that all individuals in leadership or volunteer roles uphold the highest standards of youth protection and accountability.
We encourage other chapters and aviation organizations to take this important step as well. A clear and proactive commitment to youth safety reinforces public trust and ensures that aviation continues to inspire the next generation in a safe and supportive environment.
